Top-Notch Features & Equipment

Drivers looking at the 2017 Mazda CX-9 in Phoenix will find that the seven-passenger SUV comes in four well-equipped trim levels: Sport, Touring, Grand Touring and Signature.

The base Sport model starts things off with standard features such as 18-inch alloy wheels, Mazda Connect infotainment, a six-speaker sound system, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, tri-zone automatic climate control and Bluetooth connectivity.

Choose the next-level Touring model and you'll add a power liftgate, heated front seats, a larger infotainment display and leather seating to the SUV, while the Grand Touring model gets larger wheels, a sunroof, more advanced safety features, LED foglights, navigation, a head-up display and a 12-speaker Bose premium sound system.

Finally, the 2017 Mazda CX-9 Signature, available now in Phoenix, comes with the most luxury amenities, like a rosewood interior trim, exterior LED accent lighting and premium leather upholstery.

A High-Powered Engine

Under the hood of the 2017 Mazda CX-9 is a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that outputs a very healthy 250 horsepower and 310 lb.-ft. of torque. The powertrain is rounded out by a six-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard across all trims, except for the top Signature model, which comes with all-wheel drive as standard.

Exceptional Safety & Protection

Many 2017 Mazda CX-9 reviews have called out the SUV's excellent standard and available safety equipment that includes everything from emergency braking assist and traction and stability control, to a rearview camera. Other more advanced systems like forward collision mitigation, rear parking sensors and blind-spot monitoring are also available.
